If wandering through galleries at nighttime is something you’re into, and you’re yet to wander through the Art Gallery’s Colours of Impressionism exhibition, tonight, your stars have aligned – First Fridays is on yet again.
There will be free guided tours running at 5pm and 7pm, for both Colours of Impressionism, and the Adelaide Biennial of Australian Art: Divided Worlds.
There will also be music in the sculpture courtyard, ranging from “jazz, funk and West African drumming,” courtesy of Adelaide Afrobeat Collective, and “French-accented disco tunes” from DJ Bennymax, designed, we assume, to help you properly ruminate, process the experience, and/or turn up, depending on where your Friday night will take you next.
Doors open Friday, 1 June at 5pm, close at 9pm, and you should definitely make a night of it.
