There are five bushfires currently burning in South Australia.
Three of those are roasting Kangaroo Island’s decimated western flank, while the other two are on the cusp on the scorched Cudlee Creek region, past the Adelaide Hills.

That’s only today, and that’s only within South Australia.
The Uni Students for Climate Justice has organised a protest this Friday, 5pm, at Parliament House to combat the season ahead. They’re demanding adequate pay for firefighters and relief for communities, while rallying against fossil fuels and drilling in the Great Australian Bight.
Some are also asking for the Prime Minister, Scott Morrison’s, pink slip. If you feel so inclined, you can do that too.
