SA Business Index countdown set to begin
Which South Australian companies will make this year’s top 100 list? The numbers are in and the countdown begins in InDaily tomorrow.
Don’t miss out on the opportunity to be in the room this Thursday with the Premier and South Australia’s leading companies as we celebrate the successful business stories of the year and explore the trends: what sectors soared in the tough conditions of 2015/16 and what are the companies to watch, both listed and unlisted, in the year ahead?
Now in its second year, the Index has been compiled with the expert help of Adelaide financial services company Taylor Collison.
Companies were considered eligible for the list if they had a South Australian head office, with an Adelaide share registry, or SA operated, founded and majority-owned by South Australians. Qualifying companies could not be government-run, agencies of government or a registered charity.
New prizes introduced this year will cover:
- Fastest-Growing company on the list (in terms of revenue), sponsored by SA Business Index Major Partner UniSA, which is offering a Growth Program prize.
- Rising Star award for the company that has moved the most number of places up the rankings since 2015, sponsored by Gold Partner HLB Mann Judd.
- Best New Entrant – the highest-ranking company not included last year, sponsored by Silver Partner Business SA.
The SA Business Index event will host 600 business leaders. Premier Jay Weatherill will deliver a performance review of the Investment Attraction Agency since it was created a year ago, and a panel will discuss and dissect the state of business in South Australia.
