The Moseley Bar and Kitchen in Glenelg has been crowned the winner of South Australia’s Best Pub Burger competition at hospitality trade show Invigorate.
The Moseley burger took out the top spot among 40 entries from across the state in yesterday’s event at the Adelaide Entertainment Centre. Burgers were evaluated on the basis of taste, presentation, meat content and value for money by four judges, including InDaily journalist Bension Siebert.
The $23 winning burger is made with a Wagyu patty, Barossa bacon, tomato relish and mature aged cheddar.
Previous winners of the competition, run by the Australian Hotels Association, include The Cathedral Hotel, The Tonsley Hotel, The Watermark and Hackney Hotel.
