Man run down by car in Davoren Park

A man is in hospital with head injuries after being hit by a car in Davoren Park last night.

Emergency services were called to Charmouth Road after reports of fighting in the street.

Police will allege two men were threatening each other with weapons, when one of the men got into his car and drove at the other man, knocking him to the ground.

The 39-year-old from Davoren Park man was taken to the Royal Adelaide Hospital for treatment. His condition is not considered to be life-threatening.

A 42-year-old Salisbury North man was charged with aggravated acts to endanger life and driving while disqualified.

He is expected to appear in the Elizabeth Magistrates Court today.
