A man has been charged with driving at extreme speeds while suspended after being found hiding in a northern suburbs house.
Police said Main North Rd speed cameras allegedly recorded the 21-year-old man’s Holden Commodore travelling at 196 km/h and 203 km/h in 80 km/h zones on August 10 and 13.
Patrols and and a police dog went to an Elizabeth Downs address on Sunday night, with the man arrested after being found hiding inside a cupboard.
The local man was charged with two counts of extreme speed and two counts of driving while suspended.
He was bailed to appear in the Elizabeth Magistrates Court on 30 September.
Investigations are continuing to locate and impound the man’s car.
