A 69-year-old Mount Barker man has died in hospital following a collision between his motorcycle and a car.
Police said just before 10.30 am on 21 December, police and emergency services were called to Forreston Road after reports of a collision between a Volkswagen station wagon and a Suzuki motorcycle.
The motorcycle rider was taken to hospital with “serious injuries”, police said.
“Sadly, the man died in hospital today,” a police statement said.
The driver of the Volkswagen and two passengers were treated for minor injuries. A third passenger was uninjured.
The Mount Barker man is the 90th person to die on South Australian roads this year.
