Christopher Annese + Veronica Purcell
Christopher and Veronica were married in Christopher’s hometown of Port Pirie, in the same cathedral his parents and both sets of grandparents also married.
During the ceremony, Christopher read vows to Veronica’s three children, aged eight to 17, and the groom says it was the moment he officially felt as though he was their stepfather. “Our wedding day wasn’t just about Veronica and I becoming husband and wife, it was about the five of us becoming a family,” Christopher says. Veronica says the day exceeded her expectations. “I dreamed of my wedding day for so long,” she says. “But none of my dreams were ever as perfect as the day I married Chris.”
